RevivSerums.com Launches First Swiss Hair Stimulating Redensyl Product in U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO, JULY 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ – RevivSerums.com is the first North American company to bring a hair care product to market containing award-winning Redensyl® from Swiss-based Induchem®.
Designed for both men and women, this novel next-generation leave-in serum can help significantly boost hair density, thickness, fullness, natural color, strength, and overall health.
"We are delighted to be one of the first to bring Redensyl to market, and to augment our popular and effective hair stimulating serum with this unique active," said Astonishing Developments' Director of Lotions and Potions Vance Nesbitt and principal formulator. "In updating one of our most popular products, we make it even more potent and effective while still maintaining its current price point of $49 (a $100 value). And with the addition of new polymers, it is even better for daily use since it instantly strengthens and thickens existing hair without making the hair stiff, oily, or smelly."
Induchem, creator of Redensyl, is a leading Swiss producer of specialty cosmetic actives for the personal care and cosmetic industry, with a worldwide presence including U.S.-based Induchem USA, Inc. in New York City.
"As we further build our premier global brand in clinically proven personal care ingredients, we are excited about the continued growth potential in the U.S. market for us and for RevivSerums,” said Induchem U.S.A.'s General Manager Parand Salmassinia. "We're looking forward to a very productive working relationship that will benefit customers across the nation.”
Induchem cites Redensyl to be "the first cosmetic alternative to hair transplantation surgery." The product combines two patented Induchem molecules - DHQG and EGCG2 - to reactivate hair growth by targeting hair follicle stems cells, reactivating the proliferation of ORSc stem cells, protecting them from apoptosis, maintaining their differentiation properties, and activating the metabolism of dermal papillary fibroblasts.
Induchem's clinical assessment on volunteers produced outstanding results for Redensyl. In less than three months, 85 percent of the volunteers had significant and visible hair growth, with +9 percent of new growing hair and -17 percent of falling hair, enabling up to +28,200 new hairs in 84 days.
Redensyl yields almost two times the score of the worldwide reference minoxidil, according to Induchem.
RevivSerums is now incorporating this innovative, award-winning product in a new formulation of its popular 5 star-reviewed RevivHair Stimulating Serum
In addition to the incorporation of Redensyl, RevivSerums is updating its hair stimulating serum with several additional new breakthrough ingredients:
• PhytoCellTec™ Argan, from Swiss-based Mibelle AG Biochemistry, is the first cosmetic active with proven efficacy on dermal stem cells. Hair follicles represent a highly relevant and efficient penetration pathway and reservoir for topically applied substances. Dermal papilla, where the dermal stem cell pool is localized, can be reached over follicular penetration. Sox2 expression is enhanced and “stemness” of the dermal stem cells is improved which in turn induces the repair of hair follicles.
• Cellulosomes® Crithmum Maritimum ST from Seppic® is an exclusive Sea Fennel stem cell culture that helps promote better epidermal metabolism, increases cell renewal, and the synthesis of collagen, proteoglycans, and glycosaminoglycans.
In addition to these breakthrough new ingredients, RevivHair Stimulating Serum contains its armament of remarkably effective, novel actives:
• Human Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF, rh-Polypeptide-3); PhytoCellTec™ Malus stem cells; Prezatide Copper Acetate; Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17; Copper Tripeptide-1; Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3; Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1; Palmitoyl Tripeptide among other superb actives.
The revised formula is now fragrance-free, and its base is a light, almost clear, formulation safe for all hair colors and hair types.
In addition to these innovative new ingredients, Reviv Serums is now providing PDPO (Pyrrolidinyl Diaminopyrimidine Oxide -- trade name Triaminodil™) in a separate optional vial for customers who want the growth-regulating effects similar to its chemical cousin minoxidil, which is a Pyrimidinediamine Piperidinyl Oxide. The vial ingredient is optional for those users who don't mind potential initial increased shedding since this ingredient can help promote the transition from the telogen (resting) phase to the anagen (growing) phase of the hair cycle. The vial is a customer add-on, and is only $5.
Revivair Stimulating Serum is meant to be used once or twice daily in addition to regular styling products or products such as minoxidil, and is applied directly to the scalp.
Note: The serum is considered a cosmetic, not a drug, and the product is not intended for use in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease and/or is not intended to affect the structure or any function of the human body.
